Colin Thacker, specializes in managing volunteer programsThacker Volunteer Management Services (TVMS) specializes in facilitating educational workshops on various topics related to managing volunteer programs. Established in 2003, TVMS is owned and managed by its president Colin Thacker. The primary focus of TVMS is providing training and consultation to not-for-profit agencies and organizations to help them to develop best practices for managing volunteer programs. With 30 years experience in directing and managing a volunteer program, Colin Thacker is able to focus on the day-to-day challenges faced by organizations and managers of volunteer programs in developing and maintaining meaningful support from a dedicated group of volunteers.

To develop the educational material identified by TVMS's clients and to provide meaningful consultation, research becomes another primary focus of Thacker Volunteer Management Services. Trends in volunteerism reflect the high speed of change occuring in our society, and in order to keep educational material and consultation relevant to customer needs TVMS places a high priority on continued research and development of contemporary practices in managing volunteer programs to reflect the times.

TVMS's method of offering educational workshops and consultation is cogenial, providing for an interactive and uncomplicated style of facilitating client needs.
